1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to BloomStep. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BloomStep.
2. App Services
BloomStep provides step-based activity tracking, virtual plant growth, activity history, reminders, achievements, and in-app virtual coins. Some features depend on Apple Health, iCloud, notification permission, network availability, or the availability of Apple services.
3. Health and Safety Notice
BloomStep is a lifestyle and motivation tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. Plan activity according to your own health condition. When walking outdoors, follow traffic rules and stay aware of your surroundings. Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have health concerns.
4. Apple Health Data and Permissions
You decide whether to allow BloomStep to read your step count and walking/running distance. Refusing or withdrawing permission does not prevent use of features that do not depend on Health data, but step-based energy, activity statistics, and related features may be unavailable or limited.
5. Virtual Coins, Energy, and In-App Purchases
- Coins and energy are for use only within BloomStep, including energy exchange and plant unlocks.
- Coins, energy, plants, and related progress have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or traded outside the app.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Payment, billing, and refund matters are governed by Apple's applicable terms and policies.
- We may adjust in-app items, pricing, rewards, or availability. A completed and verified purchase will be credited according to the item presented at the time of purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not interfere with, reverse engineer, modify, automate, or attempt to bypass BloomStep's normal functionality, purchase verification, data sync, or security measures. You may not use the app in a way that violates applicable law or infringes another person's rights.
7. Intellectual Property
The app design, text, images, software, and other BloomStep content are protected by applicable law. Except where permitted by law or with the developer's written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or otherwise use this content.
8. Service Changes and Termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of BloomStep to maintain security, improve the experience, or comply with legal requirements. We may also update these Terms when reasonably necessary. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BloomStep is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service or suitability for a particular purpose. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.
